Why Evening Loads Are Supplied from the Grid (18:00 – 03:00)
Inverter telemetry confirms the 16 kWh battery holds a dedicated 90%–100% reserve throughout the evening, discharging only between 03:00 AM – 06:00 AM down to 20% SOC. This safeguards the facility against Bohol's frequent grid failures. Once released at 03:00 AM, sunrise is only ~3 hours away to resume solar generation.

BOHECO 1 Interconnection
Lifts zero-export clamp. Exports ~716 kWh/mo of surplus solar. 16 kWh battery stays 100% reserved for blackouts.
Dedicated Night Battery (+32 kWh)
Expands storage to 48 kWh. 16 kWh is locked as UPS floor, while 32 kWh cycles 18:00–06:00 to eliminate evening grid load.
Net Metering + Storage (+32 kWh)
Cycles 32 kWh nightly, retains 16 kWh blackout reserve, and exports any residual midday solar overflow for grid credit.

Implementation Roadmap
BOHECO 1 Net Metering Interconnection
- Submit application for Net Metering Interconnection with BOHECO 1.
- Complete Distribution Impact Study (DIS) & secure LGU CCEI permit.
- Install approved bi-directional meter and disable Zero-Export clamp.
- Outcome: Converts ~716 kWh/month of wasted solar into ~₱4,645/mo bill credits while keeping 100% emergency blackout reserve.
Dual-Module Storage Expansion (+32 kWh)
- Install two 16 kWh 51.2V 314Ah LiFePO4 Dyness batteries in parallel.
- Program Solis Hybrid Inverter with a locked 33% (16 kWh) non-discharging UPS floor.
- Permit upper 67% (32 kWh) to discharge over the 18:00–06:00 evening peak.
- Outcome: Drops monthly grid bill from ₱16,898 to ~₱7,440/mo with permanent 6+ hour backup capacity during blackouts.
